Our Babysitting Rates

Christchurch Babysitting Bureau Rates
Our babysitting services in Christchurch, are offered at the most competitive rates. Please find an overview of our fees and charges below. Feel free to contact us if you have any queries or concerns about our rates, or to request an enquiry.

Daytime

  • From $15.00 per hour for up to 4 children
  • The Bureau fee of $13.00 is to be paid along with the sitters rate.

Evening from 6pm

  • From $12.00 per hour for up to 4 children
  • More than 4 children – $1.00 per hour each extra child
  • The Bureau fee of $13.00 is to be paid along with the sitters rate
  • When two families combine for the babysit, the rate is $8.00 per hour for each family plus one Bureau fee for up to 4 children.

Statutory Holidays

  • $17.00 per hour
  • The Bureau fee of $13.00 is to be paid along with the sitters rate.

Hotels and Motels

  • $16.00 per hour
  • The Bureau fee of $13.00 is to be paid along with the sitters rate.

Cancellation Policy

Please note: Cancellation for evening appointments should be made by noon the day booked. If this request is not met, a cancellation fee of $20.00 is to be paid.

The babysitting rates displayed on this page are valid from 1 January 2017. All babysitting prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars.
